The original cabin was built in 1964 and raised in 1978, when the lower level was transformed into a gift shop serving tour-bus visitors. The space later became a bike shop before being converted into the two-bedroom dwelling it is today. The original mural, featuring a malamute once owned by the local librarian, was preserved as part of the property's history and character.
The home is pet friendly with prior approval and offers shared coin-operated laundry with the upper unit. Because this is the ground floor of a two-unit property, guests may hear reasonable activity from the unit above.
Self check-in makes arrival convenient, including for late arrivals. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for a fee with advance notice.
