This Ground Floor apartment is attached to a home but has its own private entrance and living space. Built in 2002, it features a king-sized bed, a comfortable window seat, workspace, dining area, casual seating, and a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows.
The full kitchen includes an oven/range, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. A spacious 3/4 bathroom and private washer and dryer add convenience for both short and extended stays. Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.
Step outside and enjoy the gorgeous terraced garden along Kelli Creek. The neighborhood is close to Twin Lakes, walking and biking paths, fishing areas, hiking trails, the hospital and medical center, and downtown Juneau.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore nearby. Twin Lakes has approximately two miles of paved trail, while the Blackerbee and Salmon Creek trailheads offer options for different hiking abilities. The Gold Creek Salmon Bake is also within walking distance during the summer season.
The location is approximately 3 miles from downtown Juneau, 5.5 miles from Juneau International Airport, and 12 miles from Mendenhall Glacier. A city bus stop is located at the bottom of the street, and Twin Lakes Park is nearby.
Parking is available in a street pull-out. The upper parking area is reserved for residents of the main house.
Please note that the main home's living areas are directly above the apartment, so normal household activity and noise may be heard from upstairs. The home has a dog that may occasionally bark.
Self-check-in makes late arrivals convenient. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available for a fee with advance notice.
During the summer season, guests can also enjoy a 10% discount on qualifying Alaska Travel Adventures tours through host Kelli.
