His passion for stone, design, and unconventional art is woven throughout the property, giving Suite Rock a personality that is impossible to replicate in a typical hotel or vacation rental.
Johney has spent decades developing his craft. His work transforming natural stone into custom kitchens and art pieces became a defining part of his home and property, and guests staying at Suite Rock get to experience that creativity firsthand.
A One-of-a-Kind Interior
The private apartment features a bright bedroom with a king-sized bed, large mirrors, and custom granite accents. The living room provides a comfortable sofa, additional seating, and a granite coffee table.
The open kitchen includes:
* Oven and stove
* Large refrigerator/freezer
* Microwave
* Dishwasher
* Coffee maker
* Toaster oven
* Crock pot
* Cooking and kitchen supplies
* Bar-height seating
The ¾ bathroom is another highlight, featuring striking stone finishes and a practical layout with a washer and dryer.
The apartment is located on the second floor, requiring one set of stairs to reach the private exterior entrance. Once inside, the apartment is all on one level.
Off-street parking is available.

Fishing poles and bicycles may also be available to rent on-site for use around the area.
This is an Auke Bay / Back Loop location, not downtown Juneau. Guests who prefer outdoor recreation, local character, and access to Auke Bay will appreciate the setting. Those who specifically want to walk to downtown restaurants, nightlife, or cruise ship activity may prefer a downtown property.

Pets are welcome upon approval. Please inquire about monthly pet fees for longer stays. Pet fees help cover the additional cleaning and maintenance required to keep the property comfortable for all guests.

Kelli is a part-owner of Alaska Travel Adventures and offers guests a 15% discount on eligible excursions. Tours generally operate May through September and include seasonal experiences in Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Sitka.
